1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Outpacer AI platform and all related services (the "Service") provided by Outpacer AI ("Outpacer," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated in Delaware, United States. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to report@outpacer.ai.

  • Deceptive content: Deliberately false or misleading information, including misinformation, disinformation, deepfakes, or fabricated claims presented as fact. This includes content designed to deceive consumers about the nature, quality, or origin of products or services.

4. Prohibited Activities

In addition to the content restrictions above, the following activities are strictly prohibited when using the Service:

  • Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, data models, or underlying technology of the Service.
  • Scraping: Using automated tools, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data from the Service beyond what is provided through our official API and export features.
  • Automated abuse: Sending excessive API requests, executing denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise overloading the Service infrastructure in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
  • Credential sharing: Sharing your account login credentials with unauthorised individuals or allowing multiple users to access the Service through a single account unless your subscription plan explicitly supports team access.
  • Reselling: Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Service or any output generated by the Service as a white-labelled or competing product without prior written consent from Outpacer.
  • Circumventing security: Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with any security features, access controls, rate limits, or usage restrictions implemented in the Service.
  • Interfering with the Service: Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Service infrastructure, introduces malicious code, or disrupts the availability or performance of the Service for other users.

5. YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) Content

Certain categories of content can have a significant impact on a reader's health, financial stability, safety, or well-being. These are commonly referred to as "Your Money or Your Life" (YMYL) topics and include, but are not limited to:

  • Medical and health content: Information about diseases, treatments, medications, mental health conditions, nutrition, or fitness programmes.
  • Legal content: Information about laws, regulations, legal rights, legal procedures, or legal advice.
  • Financial content: Information about investments, taxes, retirement planning, loans, insurance, or other financial products and services.

All YMYL content generated through the Service must be reviewed, verified, and approved by a qualified human expert (such as a licensed medical professional, attorney, or certified financial advisor) before publication. The Service uses AI to assist in content creation, and while we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Outpacer expressly disclaims any liability for damages arising from YMYL content that is published without appropriate expert review. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all published content, particularly in regulated industries.

6. Backlink and Content Distribution Rules

If you use the Service in conjunction with link-building, guest posting, or content syndication activities, you must adhere to the following rules:

  • No spammy sites: Content generated through the Service must not be published on websites that exist primarily for the purpose of hosting low-quality or irrelevant links, including sites with excessive advertising, poor user experience, or no genuine editorial oversight.
  • No private blog networks (PBNs): You may not use the Service to create or supply content for private blog networks or any interconnected group of websites operated primarily to manipulate search engine rankings through artificial link schemes.
  • No thin content: All published content must meet a minimum quality standard. Content must be substantive, original, and provide genuine value to the intended audience. Pages with minimal text, automatically generated filler, or content that exists solely as a vehicle for links are prohibited.
  • No search engine guideline violations: You must comply with the webmaster guidelines published by major search engines (including Google Search Essentials and Bing Webmaster Guidelines). Practices such as cloaking, hidden text, keyword stuffing, link schemes, and sneaky redirects are strictly prohibited.
  • Minimum content quality standards: All content published using the Service must be at least 300 words, be grammatically correct, address a clear topic or search intent, include proper attribution for any cited sources, and be free of plagiarism. We reserve the right to audit published content and suspend accounts that consistently produce content below these standards.

7. Enforcement

Outpacer takes violations of this AUP seriously. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action at our sole discretion. Our enforcement process generally follows a graduated approach:

7.1 Standard Enforcement Ladder

  • First violation — Written warning: Upon identifying a first-time or minor violation, we will send a written warning to the email address associated with your account. The warning will describe the violation and specify the corrective action required. You will have 7 calendar days to remedy the violation.
  • Second violation — 7-day suspension: A second violation, or failure to correct a first violation within the specified timeframe, will result in a 7-day suspension of your account. During the suspension period, you will not be able to access the Service, generate content, or use any API endpoints. Your data will be preserved during the suspension.
  • Third violation — Permanent termination: A third violation will result in the permanent termination of your account. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked immediately. You will have 30 days to request an export of your data, after which all associated data will be permanently deleted. No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

7.2 Emergency Suspension

For severe violations that pose an immediate risk to the Service, its users, or third parties — including but not limited to distribution of malware, phishing campaigns, generation of content that exploits minors, or activities that violate criminal law — Outpacer reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account without prior warning. Emergency suspensions are effective immediately, and Outpacer will notify you of the reason for the suspension within 24 hours. You may appeal an emergency suspension by contacting legal@outpacer.ai within 14 days of the suspension notice. Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days.

7.3 Additional Remedies

In addition to account-level enforcement, Outpacer may take any of the following actions in response to AUP violations: remove or disable access to offending content, restrict specific features or API access, report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities, and pursue legal remedies for damages caused by the violation.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any activity or content that violates this AUP, please report it to us immediately. You can submit a report by sending an email to report@outpacer.ai with the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • A description of the violation, including any relevant URLs or screenshots
  • The approximate date and time the violation occurred (if known)
  • Any other information that may help us investigate the report

We review all reports promptly and will take appropriate action in accordance with this AUP. We may contact you for additional information during our investigation. Reports can be submitted anonymously, although providing contact details helps us follow up with you about the outcome.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or industry best practices. Material changes will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via email or through the Service dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated AUP. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Service.
